is a pastor/evangelist and author used by God to minister to pastors and bring renewal to thirsty congregations. He is an ordained United Methodist minister and founded Stir the Fire Ministry in 1989 to help rekindle Wesleyan fire in churches. He has pastored United Methodist churches for twenty-seven years and has been an evangelist for ten years. Presently he is on the pastoral staff at Riverchase United Methodist Church in Hoover, AL.
 
Bill and his wife were in Living Sound International with Terry Law and Don Moen. During these years of ministry behind the "Iron Curtain" Bill and the Living Sound team experienced first-hand angelic protection and favor.
 
During the years 1998-2002 he ministered extensively in Zambia. Since that time, a renewed call to help struggling churches and pastors have become his passion.
